New Location View

We’ve given our location view a makeover with a new layout and added features. To streamline your process and spare you unnecessary clicks, you can now instantly see a list of devices assigned to a location and view the latest screenshots. In addition, the redesigned interface allows you to select devices and perform any available bulk actions right from the dashboard, giving you greater visibility and control over your network.

OSD Update

Our signageOS On-Screen Display (OSD) has received an update to improve compatibility with smaller resolutions and to enhance navigation for increased usability. You can learn more about these updates in our documentation here.

JS SDK

Following the release of the Core Apps, we’re also updating our JS APIs. We’re releasing new, user-friendly JS APIs that are compatible with the latest versions of Core Apps and will allow for easier development.

These include:

• Content synchronization API updates like sos.sync.cancelWait(), sos.sync.onClosed(), and sos.sync.connect() now accept sync engine type p2p-local.
• Expanded options for working with streams include an option parameter on method sos.stream.prepare() for setting, ex. background prepare.
• Stream event listeners on play, prepare, and stop functions.
• File system features like the new sos.filesystem createArchive() method to create an archive file (currently only on Tizen).
• And finally, bug fixes, such as addressing the incorrect return type on sos.management.os.getMemoryUsage().
