We are thrilled to honor one of those leaders today!
We are pleased to announce that David Sauer, signageOS’ esteemed VP of Sales & Expert Services, has now stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer at signageOS.
David brings a unique blend of C-level strategy, commercial leadership, and deep industry knowledge. His appointment is backed by over a decade of hands-on experience in the digital signage and enterprise services space.
His deep understanding of the market was honed during his five-year tenure at POS Media Group. David’s rise through the ranks from Senior Account Manager to Sales Director, and ultimately to Managing Director of POS Digital, demonstrates his ability to drive growth. He spearheaded customized digital solutions for big retail as well as entertainment brands.
David also gained invaluable market insights and experience by co-founding and scaling the CMS company SignageLAB as CEO for over 3 years. Under his management, the company dominated one of the local digital signage software markets, serving leading retail, QSR, banking, and DOOH brands, until its acquisition by signageOS.
What defines David’s leadership is his ability to bring people together and create clarity. His journey to become COO did not start out as a mission; rather, it developed naturally as he got involved in cross-team cooperation, communication, and process-building.
At signageOS, he gradually became more involved in operations, structure, and workflow alignment until the role simply became the right next step. His leadership style is rooted in clear communication, thoughtful decision-making, and an unwavering focus on outcomes.
Both rapid advancement and meaningful challenges shaped David’s career. Before entering the tech space, he became the General Manager of one of Prague’s leading clubs and high-end dining venues before turning 30. These experiences forged a leadership style grounded in resilience. As David says, “You never lose. When you lose, you learn.”
Outside of work, David values discipline, travel, and a balanced life. He is passionate about Thai boxing, enjoys exploring new places, and appreciates good food and wine on weekends. Above all, David is a loving family man who values spending time with his wife and three daughters. Their devoted dog, “Bond,” completes their family circle.
For our team and partners, this transition means stronger coordination, more consistent operations, and a continued focus on delivering a seamless experience across every deployment. David’s appointment guarantees that, as we expand far and wide, our delivery, communication, and organizational structure will keep up with the advanced technology we offer.
