Android Release: CoreApp 4.11.0 & CloudControl 2.11.0

We’ve released an updated version of our Android CoreApp and CloudControl, now with full support for Android 13 and extended compatibility with two new devices: the Navori StiX 3800 and TCL TM43N.

This update also brings smoother screen capture, improved power action handling, and more reliable system reporting, especially on the latest Android OS versions. These enhancements continue our commitment to delivering stable, future-ready performance across a growing range of hardware.

signageOS CLI 2.5.0 Update

The latest CLI update introduces key enhancements that streamline development, strengthen security, and improve reliability across your workflows.

This release includes a critical fix for authentication issues with the sos login, updated dependencies and SDK for improved performance, and key bug fixes related to profile management.

We’ve also launched new, official CLI documentation to make onboarding and daily use smoother for teams at any stage.

Windows Release: CoreApp 3.2.0 & CloudControl 3.2.0

We’ve released an updated version of our Windows CoreApp and CloudControl, introducing a new CloudControl-specific version of the app with full Remote Desktop support. This release also replaces the legacy download library with a more secure and capable solution, removing the previous 4GB file size limitation.

Additional updates include support for custom script archives, a new on-device content guard extension, and improved logic for device identification.

We’ve also addressed key bugs, including fixes for custom script execution, removal of proprietary timers, and improved GitLab CI job disk stability related to downloaded dependencies.

Developer Documentation Enhancements

We’ve made significant improvements to our developer documentation to make it easier to navigate, faster to use, and more helpful overall.

The refreshed docs include clearer examples, expanded coverage for APIs like Video and Stream, and a new sidebar layout for better navigation.

These updates are part of an ongoing effort to improve the developer experience and reduce friction at every step.

BrightSign Release: v2.3.1

The latest BrightSign update brings expanded functionality, broader compatibility, and notable performance improvements. Highlights include support for the BrightSign JS API in custom scripts, automatic serial port data flushing, and new browser security options configurable via registry keys.

This release also adds support for LG UV5N running BrightSign OS 9, Secrets in Applet configuration, and scheduled power actions via the Applet JS API.

Key fixes improve reliability across the board: accurate results from custom script execution, optimized UHD/4K browser rendering, faster ZIP extraction, updated PDF.js for quicker PDF rendering, and refined storage selection logic.

Additional models and firmware types are now recognized, and multiple API, orientation, and network configuration issues have been resolved.
